If you haven’t watched the movie goonies, you are only 36 years late, so I will give you a SUMMARY:
The Goonies is about a band of adventurous kids who take on the might of a property developing company that plans to destroy their home to build a country club. When the children discover an old pirate map in the attic, they follow it into an underground cavern in search of lost treasure but come up against plenty of dangerous obstacles along the way
In the movie, we see how powerful it is when this group of kids get together because of a common interest.
[Genesis 2:18]
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. That doesn’t mean that everyone has to be married, the Bible actually doesn’t teach that (1 Corinthians 7:8), but it does mean that everyone needs relationships.
[ACTS 2:42-47]
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper, and to prayer. A deep sense of awe (ÁH) came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”
