Are you struggling to share your faith with others? Do you feel unsure of how to start a conversation about Jesus? Maybe you feel that your faith is still too small to talk with anyone else about it. You’re not alone! But the good news is that God can give us the confidence to share our faith. In this video, we’ll explore how our confidence in God equips us to live like Jesus and tell others about him. Ultimately, we’ll see that sharing our faith is not about having all the answers, but about trusting in God’s power and love enough to obey and allow Him to transform hearts and lives.

Confidence can take years to build, and only moments to be destroyed.

“How would your confidence look different if you truly believed God was with you?”

  1. Share God’s love with others.

[Matthew 28:16-20]

Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him—but some of them doubted! Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

[Romans 6:4]

For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”

[Acts 2:41]

Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.

“It is only because he became like us that we can become like him.” – Deitrich Bonhoeffer

[Acts 1:6-9]

So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know.  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.

2. Start local and work your way to global.

[Matthew 5:43-44]

You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you.
