If you knew you could pray prayers that would cause you to see God more active in your life, would you do it? What if praying these prayers gave God the room in your life to steer your life in a different direction? Would you still do it or would these prayers be too dangerous for you to pray? In this video, Pastor Sean shares 3 prayers that we don’t pray but why we should!

MESSAGE NOTES

What if there was a beautiful screwing up that God wanted to do in your life? Would you want to know? What if there was something you could do right now, just to see if God wanted to elevate his plans for your life?

  1. SEARCH ME and TEST ME

[Psalm 139:23-24]

“23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”

[2 Timothy 2:21]

“If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.”

2. YOUR WILL BE DONE

[Luke 22:42]

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

[Romans 12:1-2]

“1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

But CAN YOU IMAGINE what would happen if you began to ask God’s will to be done instead of your own?

3. SEND ME

[Isaiah 6:8]

“ Then I heard the Lord asking, ‘Whom shall I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?’ I said, ‘Here I am. Send me.”

[Matthew 9:36-38]

“36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
