Serving Our Local Community

No one should have to go hungry. Volunteers are Grace Church are passionate about collecting, donating and distributing groceries to local food banks and people in need in our south shore community.

We want all mothers facing an unexpected pregnancy to know their options. To help make this happen, we have partnered with a Jesus-centered, non-profit organization called Your Options, which serves the Boston area. Their centers provide free and confidential care to women facing an unexpected pregnancy, helping them make choices based on knowledge, not fear. Services include lab-quality pregnancy testing, obstetrical ultrasounds and education regarding pregnancy options.

We want to give mothers facing an unexpected pregnancy to have as much support as possible. We partner with Ollie’s House, a a faith-based organization that provides housing for families with children up to age five who are struggling with poverty and homelessness. With stability and skill training, they hope to help these families sustain a safe, happy and abundant life.

Recovering from addiction requires a strong support system. Grace Church has partnered with Teen Challenge, a faith-based residential recovery program that provides counseling to those recovering from drug addiction, alcoholism and other life-controlling problems. This program also offers services at jails and prisons, and partners with some south shore schools to work on drug-addiction prevention.

Students shouldn’t have to worry about whether or not they can get vital school supplies. We partner with local schools throughout the south shore, donating backpacks and school supplies to students in need so they can focus on their education!

We are passionate about showing God’s love to people with special needs in the south shore. Each year, we partner with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host Night to Shine, an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We roll our the red carpet and give them the star treatment (or a quiet entrance, for those who don’t prefer the limelight), providing them with hair and makeup stations, shoe-shining areas, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors, a dance floor and so much!
