I Have A Big But: If God is GOOD, then why does He allow bad things to happen to good people? Or why does He allow evil to exist at all?
“The existence of evil does not disprove the existence of God. The existence of God carries you through your experience with evil.”
James 1:13-15 – And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong,[a] and he never tempts anyone else. 14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. 15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
Evil exists because mankind walked away (still does) from the source of all that is holy. What did we think would happen?
The presence of evil doesn’t mean the absence of God.
God was with Joseph. God still loved Joseph.

God uses the bad things in our life to bring us closer. To him and to the people around us. God is the great recycler. He uses everything and wastes nothing.

The question is not if bad things will happen to us, it’s when…

So where do you go when you experience suffering?
James 1:2-4 – Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
