18 Aug 5 Fun Date Night Ideas
There is baby food smeared on the couch, Elmer’s glue in your hair, and let’s not even talk about the laundry. Maybe you and your partner feel like ships signaling in the night; conversations revolving solely around topics like passing the ketchup and scheduling little league practices.
It is time for a time out. You deserve a night off together. Here are five things you can do in the South Shore area for a much needed date night.
Mystery Escape Room Game
Total Confinement – Randolph, MA
$25 per person
The mystery escape room games at Total Confinement are perfect for a double (or triple) date. They require you to work together to solve a mystery and escape a locked room. Whether you catch a spy or rescue a kidnapped friend, you will have a blast digging through clues and solving riddles.
Ceramic Painting (BYOB)
Ceramics A La Carte – Canton, MA

$12-$20 per pottery piece

$60-$75 per person for 4-5 classes
Even if you have two left feet, you will have fun learning with Patrick the dance instructor at Piazza Dance. Types of classes include Line Dancing and Salsa!
In-Home Cooking Classes
$80+ per person
Here’s one you don’t even have to get out of the house for. If you’re okay with splurging on excellent food and a top notch instructor, then Chef Shelton from Creative Catering will bring the date night to you and walk you through making a gourmet three course meal. There is a variety of menu options, and he even offers lessons for the kids, too!
Many people pass by this diamond in the rough in Stoughton and do not even realize it! If you and your mate enjoy getting outdoors for your date night, the Bird Street Conservation area offers 630 acres of trails, ponds, and fields. According to the Stoughton Patch, there are even blueberry bushes along the trails!
